Strong technical skills combined with entrepreneurial vision

Murat Bekiroğlu (born in Fındıklı, Rize on the Turkish black sea coast in 1970) is the founder and Managing Partner of the company ODY Capital GmbH. He is responsible for the choice and the active development of the participations as well as the concept and implementation of strategic and operative on-site improvements.

After having studied precision engineering with a particular focus on production and automation technology as well as industrial engineering in Munich, he gained extensive technical and operational experience in the automotive industry and the plastics industry during a period of twelve years; his last position was as the Technical Director of the Turkish Site of a German polymer processor with more than 19,000 employees worldwide.

Eventually, acting on his passion for restructuring processes and the technical and operative optimization of operative processes, he joined the private equity industry where he held different responsible positions in private equity companies over eight years; he played a significant role in the assessment, purchase, restructuring, and sale of companies and improved their profit situation as Managing Director of portfolio companies.

By incorporating the company ODY Capital GmbH in the year 2015, Murat finally realized his heart's desire and founded a private equity boutique tailored to his personal values: fairness, reliability, enthusiasm, fast and target-orientated acting, and last but not least, the creation and preservation of sustainable values for companies and their employees.

We invest in progress

ODY Capital focuses on controlling interest in medium-sized production and technology-driven businesses with significant potential for development within the regions DACH, Eastern Europe, and Turkey. Target companies should report turnovers of more than 20m Euro and EBITDA margins from negative to 10%.

Our investments are not subject to time limits and offer solutions for a wide range of situations – financial distress, unsolved succession issues, carve-outs or spin-offs.
